integrates with your existing information management infrastructure

Our software solutions help to unify traditional IM tools and standards into one consistent framework, the C3 IG Suite – simplifying information management and archiving tasks for users while dramatically improving compliance, governance and retention measures.

C3 integrates directly into the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, increasing user efficiency and adoption.

Save content tagged by the C3 Classifier, search for content already tagged, or retrieve content to be tagged directly to and from SharePoint.

Simplify the end-user experience with automatic classification and content routing.

Introduction to C3 for IBM Connections: a simple and user-friendly solution to use within MS Office, your Desktop or Windows Explorer.

Microsoft Office + C3

C3 MS Office Classifier:

The C3 MS Office Classifier is one of the two main user interfaces for C3. The C3 Office Classifier has been designed to automating automate tagging and classification tasks to a maximum. The C3 MS Office Classifier is integrated directly into the Microsoft Office Suite of products, including Outlook.

C3 Repository Connector/ Information Router for MS Office:

The C3 Repository Connector/Information Router for MS Office can route and save/archive any MS Office document or email to a pre-set location directly from MS Office. The pre-set location rules are defined by combinations of metadata values that have been applied to the document either manually or automatically. The target destination can be an absolute or determined variable related to values discovered in the document by the auto-classifier. If the destination folder does not exist, C3 will ask the user if they want it created. The C3 information router can be connected to multiple repositories at the same time. For example financial documents can be routed to specific folders in Documentum while contractual documents are routed to a network drive location.

Over 35 Other ECMs + C3

It is possible to save content tagged by the C3 Classifier, search for content already tagged, or retrieve content to be tagged directly to/from any repository compatible with the CMIS standard.

SharePoint + C3

Introduction to C3 for SharePoint:

SharePoint delivers effective information governance through a blend of technology and Information Management components. However, in order to derive the best value from SharePoint, it should be used in combination with a strong governance model, information architecture and effective document tagging solution.

C3 is a user-centric metadata tagging solution with an associated taxonomy governance model that improves the functionality and effectiveness of SharePoint. C3 integrates with SharePoint, by capturing the relevant business context, and simplifying  the tagging of content through the creation of defaults, favorites and enhancing the richness of metadata through establishing semantic relationships (driven by the C3 model) at the time of capture or creation.

OpenText Content Suite + C3

Introduction to C3 for OpenText:

C3 is one of the only multi-facetted, semantic-capable patented technologies that works alongside Content Suite to provide an intuitive user experience and help reach sustainable information governance.

  • Simplifies the end-user experience with automatic classification and content routing

  • Identifies if the content has business or enduring value to the organization

  • Standardizes the IM/RM business model and makes it manageable

  • Solves the age-old "Enterprise Folder Structure conundrum“

IBM Connections + C3

Introduction to C3 for IBM Connections:

A simple and user-friendly solution to use within MS Office, your Desktop or Windows Explorer. It allows you to assign file tags based on content analysis then to easily classify your files in IBM Connections!

Shared Drives + C3

Introduction to C3 for Shared Drives:

C3 works seamlessly with network drives and external storage devices such as USB keys and external hard drives. Once classified with C3, document and email metadata will be stored within the file container of the directory structure. This metadata is protected and inaccessible to users other than through the C3 interface. Metadata attached to files on network drives is indexed by the C3 indexing service to make it possible to do very precise searches on C3 metadata. As the metadata structure is identical for any repository supported by C3, the C3 Shared Drive Integration is ideal for environments where an ECM system is either not available or not yet implemented. Once the ECM system is deployed, information can be migrated seamlessly from network drives to the new system.
